Food was very good. Definitely recommend the French onion soup and the poutine, they were standouts. For our entrees we got the salmon and the spicy gochujang vegetable bowl. Both were relatively good but nothing to write home about. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good. Overall a wonderful experience.

A Saratoga Springs Gem! Absolutely Recommend! We were first-time visitors to the Olde Bryan Inn during a weekend trip and couldn't have been happier with our choice for dinner! We stopped by on a busy Thursday night. Despite being told on the phone that reservations were limited, we arrived just after 5:00 PM and were immediately seated in the charming, cozy bar area—a great atmosphere to kick off the evening! We had to try the French Onion Soup based on previous reviews, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. My wife said it was delicious and the cheese was perfectly melted! For entrees, one of us had the Chicken Cordon Bleu, which was the epitome of comfort food. It featured crisped ham, a creamy sauce, and was so tender you could cut it with a fork. A perfect autumn dinner choice! I went for the French Onion Prime Rib Sandwich. Our excellent server mentioned I got one of the last few orders of prime rib for the night. So good timing there! It was a solidly sized portion, piled high with melted provolone, and complemented by a wonderfully tasty creamy aioli. Paired with a cold pint of Guinness, it was exactly what I was looking for. This historic spot offers great food, a charming ambiance, and attentive service. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop by the Olde Bryan Inn! Highly, highly recommend!

Locals already know what I know...OBI is amazing! So this review is best for those visitors to Saratoga Springs who want to have an outstanding meal...yes, a whole lot of "comfort food"; without a huge Saratoga price tag. OBI is hands down one of our favorite places for a meal...wonderfully prepared foods...consistently excellent this year, last year, and so many years past. A wait and bar staff that truly appear to like their jobs and provide outstanding service throughout. This week's visit included trying the Smoked Gouda Short Rib Poutine for the first time, and so mad at myself for not making this a regular part of my visits previously! My consistent recommendations are the Turkey Dinner, the Fish & Chips, the French Onion Prime Rib Sandwich, the Jambalaya, and of course, their salads and delicious pumpkin walnut muffins! "IF" you can possibly fit in desert...order ANY of them because they are all wonderful. Make this a must stop on your visits to Saratoga Springs.

Repeat customer and food never disappoints. Made reservations and did not have a wait. Warm bread was searved as we waited for dronks and appetizers. Ordered the shrimp cocktail and steak bruschetta for appetizers, both were perfect. Shrimp was cooked to perfection and sauce had a nice kick. For the main course we had the Filet of Mignon and Chicken Cordon Bleu, served with veggies and choice of potato. Both we again cooked perfectly. Dessert was creme Brule and the toll house cookie pie sundae. Both were excellent, but the sundae is really for 2 or more people so alot was left. Neither of us had any alcohol only 1 soda each. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. An awesome experience any time of year, but very festive during the holidays. Always love visiting.

The French onion soup is the best ive ever had. It was someone else's and the moment i had it, i know i ordered the wrong thing. the short rib pasta was good, but very under seasoned. everything except the French onion was under seasoned. It was cooked well, but under seasoned. I assume thats because the clientele is on the older side? i done know. The cooked was really well done. So its not a cooking or recipe issue. The atmosphere might have been my favorite part. The building is older than our country. thats so cool.

Good restaurant but one star off because we found a big piece of plastic in our soup, which seemed like a health hazard if accidentally eaten or if the plastic was boiled with the broth. The server seemed unfazed and didn’t bother to investigate how such a big piece turned out in the soup, which was concerning considering there might’ve been more pieces in the main batch. Otherwise food and atmosphere was good. The harvest soup was cinnamon-y and flavorful, the sandwiches tasty. Other than feeling weirded out by the plastic, I found the meal nice and hearty, and I would’ve had a stellar impression of the restaurant under normal circumstances.

Outstanding local find while on business trip!!! Make a reservation to be safe and you'll find an ancient building (since 1773) with one of the most diverse menus I've seen on my many trips around the US. Portions are large but not insane so you'll be full but not in pain. Turkey is a favorite of mine and was told that's their specialty so based on referral I did the oven roasted turkey dinner with smashed potatoes, corn stuffing, green beans, gravy, and small side of cranberry sauce (fresh). Everything was perfectly made and for together like the very best Thanksgiving meals. I went with an atypical appetizer given dinner choice but the mozzarella sticks (4 big rectangles not greasy done just right) which had a twist. In addition to some perfectly made marinara dipping sauce, there was another dip that was dark. I tried a taste expecting maybe BBQ and instead got like a fruit taste. They explained it was a raspberry almost jam/compote kind of like for toast. I was highly skeptical but love sweet and salty or savory and color me stunned. I wouldn't say it's for everyone, but it was a great alternative taste combo so I did 2 sticks that way and 2 the other. It's a bit discordant to do both in one setting but worth the try. If you're in the area this is a MUST visit, not an option. As in future trips to Albany I would say the 30 minute drive north would be worth doing for another meal here. And for those worried about a REALLY old stone building, as someone with asthma and allergies I didn't have any issues and didn't smell anything musty or scary. Whatever they've done to clean and maintain is working. All the visual delights of a colonial building without worry about air quality.

When I called they told me I needed to make a reservation and when I told them never mind they asked when I wanted to come eat. Long story short they got me in at the bar. I had wings for an appetizer then the salmon. Everything was incredible. Cozy place and good service. Highly recommend.
